The world’s fastest riders are always hungry for more traction. So when Loïc Bruni, Finn Iles, and Chris Grice from the Gravity team reached out to us to develop a mountain bike tire to tame World Cup Downhill tracks, we cooked up something that will satisfy even the most aggressive appetites. We completely redesigned the Cannibal tread pattern, integrating our super-sticky GRIPTON T9 compound with a high-volume casing that brings superior control to any terrain. Staggered shoulder blocks maximize cornering stability, and large center braking blocks bite aggressively into the ground. Engineered to the design specifications of our riders, the Cannibal balances weight and durability with GRID Gravity casing for Enduro, Downhill, and Park riding. The Cannibal delivers the unbeatable combination of grip, confidence, and control to devour any track.
- High-volume casing and staggered shoulder blocks for predictable high-speed cornering.
- Re-designed center knobs and siping form strong surface connections.
- Wide braking edges and massive center blocks cut in for maximum deceleration.
- GRIPTON T9 compound reduces terrain-induced chatter, enhancing confidence at warp speeds.
- Compliant and adaptable GRID GRAVITY 2-ply casing construction is ideal for Enduro, Park, and Downhill riding.
- 2Bliss Ready technology protects against pinch flats, cuts, and punctures.

The new Vittoria Mazza combines years of athlete input with cutting-edge tread technology, raising the bar on the mixed terrain Enduro tire category. Starting with a defined center tread, the Mazza uses deep siping in the direction of rotation, allowing the tire to roll fast while still opposing drift, especially in off-camber terrain. The stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp but digs in on climbs, making Mazza a top choice for both front and rear use. Substantial spacing was designed into the center tread to provide braking traction, while also accelerating mud clearing.
Cornering on the Mazza is handled by Vittoria's trademark progressive sipe width technology, which gives a gummy inside effective edge without the instability that competitors experience on the outside of the tread. Simply put, bigger sipes flex more than smaller sipes. This unique siping pattern creates asymmetrical tread flex and translates into a predictable, confident, and communicative feel at the limit of cornering. Mazza's generous tread depth claws into a range of terrain and is stabilized with Vittoria's proprietary 4C compound layering process. Four separate Graphene 2.0 compounds are layered, allowing the surface of the tread to remain tacky while the base remains planted. This ensures each effective edge is kept in place under high cornering and braking loads, leading to reduced rolling resistance and increased wear life. The bar has been raised.
- Aggressive profile with ample sipe spacing for mixed terrain
- Progressive sipe width for tactile grip on rocks and roots
- Stepped leading-edge center-tread maintains speed and delivers climbing traction

The Mezcal XC Race is built using a new XC Race Formulation and has been torture tested at the UCI elite levels. The Race Formulation employs Graphene and Silica, providing increased wet grip and suppleness, and combines a 60TPI tubeless ready casing to optimize deformation. This combination has been shown to reduce rider fatigue while simultaneously increasing race-day reliability. The continuous center line maintains fast-rolling contact, and its offset extensions are siped to multiply the number of leading and trailing edges, propelling you up the trail on climbs and increasing bite while braking. The rear siping on the shoulder knobs runs parallel to the trail with variable widths and open trailing edges, so the Mezcal corners fast on hard, slippery surfaces – despite being such a fast-rolling tire. For climbing, cornering, or careening down hill, no tire cooks like the Mezcal.
