First Impression Norco Range VLT
I've been super curious about high pivot mountain bikes. Not only is the design a newer addition to the played out suspension options out there, it's one that is designed for chunky trails. The rearward axle path helps the rear wheel move back and over obstacles instead of getting hung up.
So when we had a chance to bring in the Norco Range VLT and snag a few demo bikes for the rental fleet, I snagged one for a quick test as soon as I could. I found the design handled our chunky trails incredibly well. So well, that after I took my initial ride, I immediately planned out a second ride to use it as a shuttle vehicle to test it out on Grafton (video forthcoming). I was super impressed with this bike. With 170 mm of front travel, it's a big bike meant to handle chunky, techy trails. It's not for everyone, but if you are looking for something to smooth out the big, rocky hits and flow through our trails a bit faster, this one is certainly worth a try.
try before you buy
As mentioned in the video, we not only have the Range VLT in stock, but they have been added to our rental fleet. As with all our bikes, you can rent this bike to see if it's for you. If you end up purchasing the bike within 30 days, we will credit the cost of the rental toward your purchase price.
