What You Need to Set Up Your Bike Tubeless

While you can set up almost any combination of tires and rims to be tubeless, you will get the best results if you have a tubeless ready rims and tires. These are designed for the distinct pressures that riding without tubes require. Having those two things, a set of valve stems and tubeless sealant are all you need.

how to setup a tubeless tire
Starting with a tubeless ready tire, remove it from the package and smooth it out. Make sure the rim is well-taped and install the valve stem tightening the nut snug, but not too tight as to damage the o-ring. Install the tire and then add sealant. Set the bead with compressed air and inflate to the appropriate pressure.
Ride as soon as possible after to disperse the sealant through out the tire.
