Ride to the Ride – St. George Edition

One of the many awesome things about riding bikes in Southern Utah is the ability to ride to the ride. Not only leaving the car behind, but enjoying the scenery and extending the amazing singletrack we have into a bigger ride or just linking up more trails so you can pedal longer.

Paradise/City Creek

Probably the easiest to access from downtown St. George. Paradise Rim and City Creek trails sit just north of town on the red cliffs. Both are short, fun loops that have amazing views and high reward for effort.

From Red Rock Bicycle to City Creek:

  1. Turn left on 100 S (Bike Lane)

  2. Turn left on 300 W (Bike Lane)

  3. Turn left onto Diagonal Street (Bike Lane)

  4. Turn right onto the bike path at the end of Diagonal and head north.

  5. Stay on this bike path heading north to the light and then turn right continuing on the bike path

  6. There is a steep grade for a bit, at the top you will see a step over, the trail starts there and will end on the same bike path at the top of 200 E.

To continue to Paradise, from step 4 above:

  1. Turn left and go through the tunnel to go under Bluff Street

  2. On the other side, hang a hard right to continue north on the bike path
