Trail Tested: Norco Search Initial Impressions

We've been wanting to see what the Norco Search could do on our local trails and are stoked to bring you our first impressions.

The Norco Search comes in both Aluminum (starting at $1099) and Carbon (starting at $3199). It's built to take on gravel in its many forms including bikepacking, racing, or just cruising the local multi-surface loop.

Bike highlights:

  • Fit up to a 50mm tire

  • Easy-access downtube storage (carbon only)

  • Suspension ready frame

  • No Other Way Lifetime Warranty

The big question is can it handle the "gravel" that Southern Utah is known for. Around these parts, we don't have buttery smooth roads where narrow tires make sense and handling jenk is an option. We plan to give the Search Rival XPLR a solid SoTah beatdown.
