The Specialized Diverge has a long history in the gravel scene. It has always been a solid bike with contemporary specs. When Specialized added the Future Shock, they changed what you could expect from a gravel bike giving riders the option of a little bit of suspension to smooth out rough terrain.
The Diverge 4 builds on that legacy and brings some small but much needed updates. Gravel riders keep asking for bigger tires. The Diverge 4 has clearance for up to 50mm of width, updated geometry, and UDH.
This is the 3rd Diverge I have had the opportunity to ride and I was excited to see what it could handle with bigger tires.
