From Future Shock 1.5 and all-new gravel geometry to category-leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything Specialized has learned over more than 40 years of riding road, gravel and dirt. The Diverge Sport Carbon has been developed thanks to over four decades of experience. It features a FACT 8r carbon frame and Future Shock 1.5 suspension for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, in the dirt, and over thick gravel. With Unbound-winning Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires, the same rubber spec'd on the S-Works Diverge, you're ready to ride as fast and as far as you want. The FACT 8r carbon frame is incredibly capable and race bike light, making it ideal for pinning local dirt climb KOMs or grinding up giant backcountry peaks. Future Shock 1.5 provides 20mm of axial compliance progressively tuned specifically for gravel riding, keeping you confident and in control while maintaining power over rough dirt roads and thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh. The new Diverge features progressive geometry designed specifically for drop bar gravel riding. It has increased frame reach, a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork that create incredible confidence with a planted feeling in the dirt while maintaining responsive and nimble steering on the road. The low bottom bracket increases stability while remaining high enough to utilize 650b wheels if desired. The Diverge comes equipped with plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need no matter how far you plan to go or how long you plan to stay out. The bike offers 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1" with a 650b wheel, thanks to a drive side chain stay utilizing a solid beam of carbon behind the chainrings.
