The redesigned S-Works Epic frame focuses on efficient power transfer and better handling performance, with a 15-percent stiffer rear triangle to take full advantage of the BRAIN's new pedaling platform. The frame uses FACT 12m Carbon with a dedicated layup schedule and a carbon fiber shock link, shaving over 100 grams from the previous generation S-Works frame. The Position-Sensitive BRAIN fork benefits from RockShox's SID SL Ultimate chassis, improving front-end stiffness and handling precision while keeping weight minimal. The bike is equipped with SRAM's flagship XX1 Eagle AXS electronic groupset for authoritative shifting. Roval created an entirely new Control SL rim specifically for the Epic, designed to match the bike's newfound speed and handling performance. The Roval Control SL rim features a 29-millimeter-wide internal width and improves pinch-flat resistance by 22-percent.
