Salsa BLKthorn 145 Eagle 70 Transmission Bike - 29" Aluminum

The Blackthorn 145 is Salsa's all-mountain bike, a rugged rig built for backcountry trails and rowdy lines. It's most at home on steep and technical terrain both up and down the mountain, bringing capable, confident, and cargo-friendly performance without being a handful. The bike features a Split Pivot suspension design with 145mm of efficient rear travel paired with a 160mm suspension fork. The suspension is fully active under braking and supportive throughout its stroke. The Split Pivot+ design philosophy allows riders to switch travel class to the 125mm rear/140mm front travel found on the Blackthorn 125 by swapping out the shock link, shock, and fork. A rear flip chip adjusts the head tube angle and bottom bracket height to accommodate varying terrain, wheel sizes, and personal preference. The frame includes integrated strap locations for tubes and multitools, top tube mounts for top tube bags or computer mounts, and molded frame protection. The bike fits two bottles on all sizes and has clearance for up to 29 x 2.5" tires. It's compatible with mixed wheel sizes and most coil shocks.
